Harbor Drive Pedestrian Bridge

Project Design

Prominent location, civic importance and the development of the pedestrian bridge as a gateway to the region contributed to the high-level of aesthetic quality and iconic design in what will be one of the longest self-anchored pedestrian suspension bridges in the nation. Additional design features include:

  • 530' curved span
  • 16' wide/3' thick concrete deck, 25' above harbor drive
  • Stainless steel wrapped suspension cable railing
  • Enhanced lighting above/below bridge deck & on center pylon
  • Landscaped plazas on north/south sidesHarbor Drive North
