In October 2005, both the Centre City Advisory Committee/Project Area Committee and the CCDC Board of Directors recommended that the Proposed Community Plan, Proposed Centre City PDO, Proposed Tenth Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan and Proposed Final EIR were recommended for approval to the Planning Commission.

The Planning Commission is expected to make a recommendation to the Redevelopment Agency/City Council on its third and final meeting on the Community Plan on January 12, 2006. This recommendation will be forwarded for consideration as part of a Joint Public Hearing to consider adoption of the Proposed Community Plan, Proposed PDO, and Proposed Tenth Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan, along with certification of the proposed Final EIR. The Joint Public Hearing is scheduled for January 31, 2006.
