REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ)

FOR ‘C’ STREET CORRIDOR URBAN DESIGN MASTERPLAN

SUBMIT PROPOSAL BY JULY 22, 2005

Centre City Development Corporation (CCDC), a public non-profit organization and an equal opportunity contracting entity, is requesting proposals from Urban Design, Architectural and Engineering firms to prepare a Master Plan document for the C Street Corridor. CCDC seeks a firm with expertise in the areas of light rail transit (LRT) design, urban design, public works interface, downtown streetscape, public spaces, vehicular, transit and pedestrian circulation, and a community-driven design process.

Proposals from small businesses, disabled veteran-owned businesses, women-owned businesses, firms owned by under-represented ethnic groups and local firms are strongly encouraged.

Proposers are encouraged to attend a pre-submittal meeting Thursday, June 23, 2005 at 9:00 am at CCDC's office located at 225 Broadway, Suite 1100, San Diego, CA 92101 (619-235-2200).  The complete RFQ packet can be downloaded from CCDC’s website at http://www.ccdc.com or available for pick up at the CCDC office.  Proposals are due Friday, July 22, 2005 not later than 4:30 p.m.  For questions or additional information, please contact Jeff Zinner, CCDC Project Manger, at 619-533-7122 or zinner@ccdc.com.
