CCDC News Digest Special Meeting of the Centre City Development Corporation (CCDC) Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2009
The following summarizes Wednesday’s meeting:
2009 BOARD MEETING DATES SCHEDULED (Centre City). The Board approved a schedule of the following dates for its 2009 board meetings:
January 21
February 18
March 18
April 15
May 20
June 17
July 22
August – No meetings
September 16
October 21
November 18
December – No meetings

BALLPARK VILLAGE FIRST IMPLEMENTATION AGREEMENT TERMINATED (East Village). The Board approved a motion to terminate negotiations pertaining to the Ballpark Village First Implementation Agreement at the request of the property owner and developer, Ballpark Village, LLC. (Vote 4–0 with Chair Maas excused, Director LeSar absent and Treasurer Kilkenny abstaining.) To read the complete staff report for item 5, click here.
STATE SUPERIOR COURTS MASTER PLAN PRESENTATION (Core). The Board received a presentation on the State Superior Courts Master Plan. (No action taken.) To read the complete staff report for item 6, click here.
SUMMARY OF CLOSED SESSION ITEMS (Centre City). The Board met in closed session regarding four items pending litigation referred to in item 8A. of the Jan. 7, 2009 Special Meeting Agenda. Chair Maas participated via telephone. During this closed session, the Board provided direction to legal counsel on these matters and no reportable action was taken.
