SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER - PUBLIC WORKS

Centre City Development Corporation (CCDC) is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Senior Project Manager, Public Works. Under the direction of the Assistant Vice President, Public Works, the Senior Project Manager will plan, supervise, process, manage and generally oversee public works projects including street and sidewalk improvements, public utility systems, parks, and public/private demolition projects. The Senior Project Manager will manage public works contracts including budget issues, amendments and scheduling, and provide assistance with private developments. Additionally, the Senior Project Manager will coordinate and manage parcel maps, subdivision maps and surveying for property; participate in complex negotiations with developers; analyze proposals; participate in the consultant solicitation and selection process; draft scopes of work; supervise and direct the work of two employees; administer plan check reviews; coordinate and review traffic related issues; investigate field problems affecting property owners; participate in pre-bid conferences, contract award, preconstruction, field construction progress, EO meetings, final walk through and acceptance of work; and prepare materials for and make oral presentations to a variety of audiences.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited college or university, be a Registered Engineer in the State of California, and hold a minimum of ten years of related experience. Candidates must be able to write clear, concise, comprehensive and effective reports and make effective oral presentations. Candidates must also be proficient with Microsoft computer applications.

The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $128,000. Starting salary within the range is dependent upon qualifications. CCDC is not a part of the Civil Service System and is exempt from Social Security.
